Service Follow-Up
Quotation Delivered: July 7, 2014 The client had reached out to GRS to address the growing problems on their commercial building’s flat roof. We delivered a quotation for a number of services that GRS offers; liquid rubber repair to the ten roof penetrations, roof recovery (EPDM, TPO, etc), or outright roof replacement with whatever system they would like installed. We left the quotation with them, and they touched base three weeks later (August 15, 2014) to reconfirm pricing. In their request, they noted that they would like to proceed with EPDM roof replacement.   Roof Report: October 19, 2014 The team arrived on location for 10:00am and oriented themselves with the existing roof and fine details of the work to be completed. They roofed in the ten penetrations and carried out some spot repairs to the open field and ridge cap. Materials Used:
  • (2) Pails of brush-grade liquid rubber
  • (2) Rolls of 6” seam tape
At 5:00pm they left the site, set to return at a later time for the full EPDM installation. 20141017_111349_resized 20141017_111413_resized 20141017_113931_resized 20141017_115433_resized 20141017_122357_resized 20141017_122411_resized 20141017_122445_resized 20141017_130834_resized 20141017_130843_resized 20141017_130854_resized 20141017_111318_resized 20141017_111327_resized 20141017_111337_resized 20141017_111349_resized_1 20141017_111405_resized 20141017_111413_resized_1 20141017_113931_resized_1 20141017_115433_resized_1 20141017_122357_resized_1 20141017_122411_resized_1     Roof Report: December 14, 2014 The job site is now complete; old roof has been removed and the new EPDM system installed. The old roof appeared to be PVC, so it’s been removed and disposed of. In place, GRS installed EPDM using bonding adhesives to affix it to the underlying structure. A new drain was installed using water cut, with another drain put in place using primer with EPDM patches. The accompanying metal has been installed with new caulking, and all of the EPDM laps have been finished with EPDM lap sealant.   20141212_164213_resized 20141213_185737_resized 20141213_185746_resized 20141213_185757_resized   Service Follow-up and Leak Repair: January 22, 2015 The GRS crew returned to the site after a new issue raised by the client. They had found some leaking water coming into the building and needed it addressed. Once on location, the team found that the problem was not with the roof, but with the drain pipe inside the building. They fixed the drain, tightening, straightening, and sealing it at the problem areas. Between the two, the job site was wrapped up quickly, and they moved on their way once finished.   CODE: 5459 Contact Us Call our 24 hour emergency roof repair at 1.780.424.7663.
