This client's residential home required replacements to some of the shakes on their roof. The shake roof is 22-25 years old, meaning that some of the shakes start to get soft and porous. Furthermore, the caps start to split, requiring frequent spot-repair/replacements. March 14 Arrived on the job site. Inspected the roof to determine what materials would be necessary for the job. Poor weather conditions; could not proceed March 19 Replacement cedar shakes and jobsite materials were picked up.
